Backerkit

You will be getting one more survey from Backerkit who will collect shipping for physical items. There will be a 4 to 7 question survey depending on your backer level. One question will ask about the Monster Folio which is our next Kickstarter more on that in a bit.

When you go to Backerkit you will be able to add items if you want something that was either not in the backer level you choose or if you want to add items from prior campaigns. Those who missed the campaign can also go in and Pre-Order any item until December 27th at which time the store closes and we begin to pack all final shipments. So where is the email? Well, Backerkit had a small issue with Pre-Order items, not in the addon list. They are reviewing that now along with the entire survey and we will be able to run a smoke test as soon as they approve it, about 2 hours later the emails will begin to go out.

Monster Folio?

Eddie Jonas has put a lot of effort into many of the creatures you have seen in his first two modules. The document he sent me was more than 500 pages. I believe that will translate into a 300-page book, we shall see. This new Geneva Caverns Encounter book is in editing now. We will launch a kickstarter for the Monster Folio, the Geneva Cavern Map, and Campaign/Map Booklet at the end of the Month once we have a solid page and monster count for you. This will add many monsters (from all five adventure modules and some new ones) to your D&D 5e, AD&D 1e, or WCS (Dragonscales RPG and/or Lost 77 Worlds RPG) campaigns. 

Here is a smaller one (~ 125 pages) we did for Dragonscales.

Kickstarter survey's are out

Sadly, KS does not allow us to edit our survey's or send out more than once. Please register your UID for PDF's at FireSideCreations.com this was misspelled in the survey. 

Editing, ART, & Cartography

Jeff has completed the editing and copies were sent to Eddie. We will move into layout in a week to provide time for the author to make any last minute changes. All art and maps are also complete so we are very close to sending them to the printer.

Backer Kit

We anticipate Backerkit will approve the final survey for shipping and addon's sometime next week and those will be sent the day they are approved. Layout will take about a week per adventure and we will produce them and post the PDFs to the website as they are complete. Those getting multiple adventures will get their shipment when all adventures in your reward list are complete.

Survey's!

 I had a slight delay coming up to speed with the changes in both Kickstarter and backerkit since our last campaign. The current target is to have the survey's out Friday November 8th. We have a lot in motion and this campaign is right at the top of the list we are working on.

State of Development

The adventures are all written and the first edits from our editor started coming back in this week. I hope to have everything in layout and graphic design in 10 or 12 days.

Shipping?

 I believe we will be close to the projected shipment date (by the end of the Month) or very early in December. Reply to your surveys (kickstarter and backerkit) before the end of the month so we can provide the printer with the exact number of modules to print.

Moving forward

All files are now in Edit. We expect them to go to layout in the next two weeks. As all the art is done this should get completed in ~3 weeks. After that we will get a print schedule and from that delivery date we can project when modules will be mailed to you.

Survey's

We will be using backerkit for this kickstarter which will provide a robust add-on store for items not well represented in the Kickstarter. It will also give you an opportunity to add other FSC items and have them mailed in the same box saving you shipping charges. Expect to get a very short initial survey from Kickstarter so we can capture contact information and check that box on the campaign then a backerkit survey which will confirm your mailing address, do addon's, upgrade books, and pay for shipping. 

Expectations

I will be at a writers convention and may be at GameHole for a day over the next 3 weeks. So, this campaign will likely wrap up in late November and shipments completed as soon as products arrive from the printshop.

Thank you to all 73 backers who pledged $4,561 to make this project happen. 

Whats Next?

Kickstarter will collect funds over the next two weeks. The first module is in final edit and then will go to the graphic designer for layout including art placement. We expect to see the prototype adventures in 6-8 weeks. Once that has occurred the mass production of the adventures will begin. We promised delivery between December 2019 and February 2020. Currently, if all goes smoothly, we expect to complete all shipments prior to Christmas. 

Addon Store and Pre-Order

There will be an addon store where you can add maps and other products from FSC including the original TFD and Mirror Mirror. This will go live soon and the survey to validate your rewards and collect shipping will go out in the next 2 weeks. Any addon's or pre-orders will ship along with all the rewards for backers in an single box.
